Beneficiary Profile:

Our target is to work with at least 50 Eco-preneurs, primarily SMEs in four counties: Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Machakos. We specifically focus on women-led Eco-preneurs in Agribusiness, Waste, Energy, Health, and Fashion, aged between 24 and 45, with traction demonstrated through sales and at least one year of business experience.

Goal of the Mentorship Program:

The objective of the EKONNECT Mentorship Program is to align the expertise and passions of our volunteer mentors with the specific needs of entrepreneurs seeking assistance in enhancing their eco-conscious business operations. We aim to create meaningful connections by utilizing personal profiles, interest inventories, interviews, and get-acquainted sessions to foster productive mentor-entrepreneur relationships.

Who Can Be Guided and Helped:

Any entrepreneur in need of advice and support for their eco-conscious business operations is welcome to participate in the EKONNECT Mentorship Program.

Who is a Mentor:

A mentor is a confidential advisor or coach who serves as a sharer of information, communicator, facilitator, and advisor to the entrepreneur.

Mentor Agreement and Responsibilities:

I, hereby agree to actively participate as a mentor in the EKONNECT Mentorship Program. I commit to:

• Sharing my skills, values, and experiences to positively influence the entrepreneur.
• Providing support and advice on financial, technical, legal, and general business issues.
• Engaging in regular communication with the mentee to foster a productive mentor-entrepreneur relationship.
• Utilizing my knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the entrepreneur.
• Maintaining confidentiality in all interactions with the mentee.
• Participating in EKONNECT’s mentor matching processes, including personal profiles, interest inventories, interviews, and get-acquainted sessions.

Limitation of Liability and Indemnification:

I understand that my role as a mentor is advisory, and the entrepreneur bears sole responsibility for decisions made. By filling out the form below, I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Eko-nnect and its officers, board members, and staff from any claims arising from my participation in the Mentorship Program.
